TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for a travel nursing job in Shreveport, Louisiana.
UNIT: HOME HEALTH
MGR INTERVIEW
General Information:
Minimum Experience: 1 year of Home Health, Med Surg or Hospice experience required
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with above experience
Required Licensure & Certifications:
BLS, NIHSS
Valid Driver’s License
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Meditech Home Care
IV pumps: depends on the local Infusion Pharmacy
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Wound, Heart Failure, Diabetes, IV antibiotic administration, Foley Catheter and PICC line maintenance, etc.
Case Load: 7-8 patients per day
Skills required:
General Medical/Surgical skills
ER and ICU experience (preferred but not required)
Floating: If yes, where? Traveler will travel throughout the 50-mile radius that we cover
Orientation: 1 week
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend applies, on your weekend to work you will be off Friday and Monday
On call? No call
Holiday Expectations: Required to work 50% of all holidays
RTO: Manager approval
