Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications accepted.
Must-Have:
Must have experience performing admissions and completing Oasis assessments.
Travelers located within 50 miles will receive a rate decrease.
Former employees are not eligible for travel assignments.
Travelers are not accepted if they have ever been a former employee regardless of length of separation.
Description:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Travelers cannot be first-time travelers.
The daily visits will consist of 6 patients per day.
Shifts are available in a 5x8 schedule from Thursday to Monday or a 4x10 schedule from Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday.
The role does not require call or float duties.
Weekends are required.
Nurses will be responsible for a variety of tasks including adult home health, blood glucose management, care management of peripheral IVs, clinical assessment documentation, and wound care.
Infection control precautions must be followed.
The nurse will perform medication administration, obtain vital signs, and provide nutritional assessments.
Experience with Oasis documentation is necessary.
This role will provide care to diverse patient populations, including adolescents and geriatrics.
