Description:
The role involves conducting visits to patients in their homes.
The nurse will be responsible for managing multiple visits each day, approximately six.
A weekend commitment is required as per the schedule.
Strong clinical skills in adult home health care are essential.
Experience in medication administration, vital signs assessment, and wound care is necessary.
Skills in managing various medical devices such as G-tubes, IVs, and catheters are needed.
Knowledge of infection control precautions is crucial.
The nurse should be proficient in documentation, including OASIS assessments.
Moreover, managing nutritional assessments and performing phlebotomy are part of the responsibilities.
There are no floating or call requirements for this position.
The candidate must be willing to follow health protocols and guidelines in patient care.
Additionally, interdisciplinary support will be available to assist with patient needs.
