Common diagnoses include Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes, Renal Disease, Wound Care, and IV therapy management. It is essential to have experience with management of drains and other devices. A typical day involves seeing 6 patients, which includes one admission and 3-4 follow-up visits. Travel nurses are required to conduct Start of Care (SOC), Re-certifications, and Resumptions. There will be nursing support available after hours. CNA's are employed in the home health/hospice role for additional support. Scheduling is managed by the office, with expectations to work 5 days per week, including rotating weekends. Typically, the nurse will have one weekend on-call per month and one evening on-call per week. Participation in the on-call rotation is required, with no more than one night of call per week. All nurses will work with home health and hospice patients. It is important to maintain a clean and professional appearance, with any solid color scrubs preferred. Each clinician must clock in and out during their shifts.
