TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for a travel nursing job in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of home health experience; first-time travelers are accepted with at least 3 years
  • Active Wisconsin or compact RN license and AHA BLS
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
  • Epic and point-of-care documentation experience required
  • Own vehicle required
  • Experience caring independently for acute patients in a home health setting
  • OASIS experience is a plus, but not required

Patient care and travel

  • Patients: Newborns through older adults, primarily recovering from illness, a new diagnosis, injury, or surgery; pediatric volume is small
  • Visits: Approximately 4–6 per day, with travel time included in the shift
  • Territory: Nine counties in northeast Wisconsin; average driving is 75–100 miles per day
  • Skills: IV site care, wound care, wound VACs, ostomies, and other hands-on home health care

Schedule and other details

  • Weekends: Every other weekend; every weekend is an option
  • Holidays: Up to every other holiday
  • Dress: Solid-color scrubs or business casual
  • Equipment provided: Laptop, corporate phone, clinical bag, vital-sign equipment, and PPE
  • The team uses remote patient monitoring, including video visits, vital signs, heart and lung sounds, and single-lead ECGs. Staff adjust visits around severe weather when possible.
