Description: This position involves providing, coordinating, and directing home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care is delivered in accordance with agency policies and procedures. The registered nurse is responsible for applying the nursing process competently. The role requires direct supervision and evaluation of Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Home visits will be required for patient care. Periodic office meetings may also be necessary. Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and required insurance are essential. The average number of patients seen per day will be between 5 and 10. The position aims to achieve a productivity expectation of 30 points per week. Types of cases will include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-Up Visits. Clinicians will need to be willing to travel within the designated mileage radius.
