Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,346 per week in Marlborough, MA

License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: CPR and BLS required. Must-Have: Proficient in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and used it within the past six months. Must be proficient in OASIS. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide home visits and attend periodic office meetings. Average daily caseload is 5 to 8 patients. Weekly productivity expectation is 30 points. Visit types, documentation, travel, and other activities have different point values. Contractors typically see 5 to 10 patients per day, totaling approximately 6 to 8 points. No guaranteed hours are provided. If the patient census is low, contact the account manager about floating to a nearby clinic for additional hours. Case types may include start of care, wound care, follow-up visits, and other adult home health services. Clinicians must have a current vehicle, valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travel between patient homes is reimbursable. Travel to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable. The clinician must be open to traveling up to 75 miles from the home clinic. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed and incomplete documentation that impacts billing and follow-up patient care will result in a cancel. The expectations are that the clinician will accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance from previous appointments. Declining patients may result in a cancel. No contract hours are guaranteed. All overtime must be pre-approved. If the clinician is not receiving enough patients each week to support their financial needs, they will have the opportunity to float to another nearby clinic to pick up patients.
