Key Responsibilities of the RN - Home Health - Travel- Observing, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing support for well, chronic, or acutely ill individuals in a community setting
- Working closely with other health professionals in planning and evaluating health programs and services
- Coordinating communications and actions of various disciplines related to health and safety supports
- Ensuring proper medication management and documentation
- Providing necessary health status reports and updates
- Directing and supervising licensed practical/vocational nurses
- Ensuring completion and implementation of health-related appointments and findings
- Maintaining communication with healthcare facilities regarding patient admissions and discharges
- Providing training on health and safety for new and existing staff
Requirements of the RN - Home Health - Travel- RN License
- Proficiency in nursing skills such as wound care, IVs, catheters, injections, lab draws
- Ability to assess patient health and develop care plans
