Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (5×8 Hours) | Monday-Friday with rotating weekend shifts | Onsite/Field
Key Responsibilities- Conduct skilled home visits (6-8 per day) for patients covered under Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance
- Perform cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care (including ABI compression dressings, wound vac dressings), and Pleurx/Asept drain care
- Provide IV therapy, PICC line and midline care and dressing changes, SQ port access/deaccess, foley catheter changes, and lab draw venipuncture
- Manage high-risk diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke, as well as post-operative care
- Complete OASIS documentation and self-schedule visits based on the needs of the home care office using provided laptop, MiFi, and portable printer
- Administer SQ/IM injections, use glucometer and pro-time machine, and perform staple/suture removal
Required Qualifications- Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required; private duty nursing experience alone will not be accepted
- OASIS training and hands-on OASIS experience required
- Demonstrated IV skills and wound care experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required to conduct home visits
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have an exemption form on file; flu shot or declination required (mandatory mask wearing applies in applicable cases)
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Background working with general medical diagnoses across diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicare Advantage skilled home care documentation requirements
