GI Lab Registered Nurse (GI Lab RN) – Travel Contract | Highland Park, IL
Favorite Healthcare Staffing is looking for an experienced GI Lab Registered Nurse (GI Lab RN) for an 8-week travel contract in Highland Park, IL! This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least two years of nursing experience in GI Lab, PACU, Telemetry, or procedural nursing, with documented recovery experience. Previous travel nursing or PRN experience is preferred.
GI Lab Registered Nurse (GI Lab RN) Position Details:
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Location: Highland Park, IL
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Shift & Schedule: Day shifts with varying start times between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM
- Hours: 36–40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirements: None
- Holiday Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: None
- Floating Requirements: May be required to float between Highland Park, Skokie, and Glenbrook GI Labs
GI Lab Registered Nurse (GI Lab RN) Requirements:
- At least 2 years of recent nursing experience
- GI Lab, PACU, Telemetry, or procedural nursing experience accepted
- Documented patient recovery experience required
- Experience with patient admissions, procedure rooms, and post-procedure recovery
- Proficiency in starting IVs and administering IV fluids
- Previous travel nursing or PRN experience preferred
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Active CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required
- New graduate nurses will not be considered
