Job Summary
Geriatric Medical Surgical Nurse located in Harmony, MN. This position involves working in a 43-bed long-term care facility with a focus on geriatric patient care. The role requires flexibility across various shifts to ensure optimal patient outcomes and facility operations.

Job Details

• Position: LTC Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Geriatric Floor
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: MN RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Associate Degree or Certificate, location in Harmony, MN; 2+ years RN experience, with 1+ year in long-term care required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts (evening, night), 8 or 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care within a 43-bed long-term care facility, passing medications, managing patient charts (matrix charting preferred), and performing treatments and PRN care.
• Additional Information: The position requires a resilient, hardworking candidate who manages change well and can work independently. Ability to pass medications and manage tasks in a timely manner is essential. The work environment includes night shifts with one nurse and two Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Candidates must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Gundersen Tweeten, located 25 miles apart.
