Travel Nurse RN - Gastrointestinal Lab - $2,367 per week in Simpsonville, SC

You'll work with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering quality endoscopy services to adult and geriatric patients while maintaining professional growth through cross-training opportunities. Job Opportunity – GI Lab Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating day shifts (various start times between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM with 8-hour shifts). Call required 4-5 days per month based on facility needs. Weekend coverage is 1 weekend shift every other month, varies based on census. Float capability to other facilities as needed.

Highlights:

• GI Lab setting in a smaller facility requiring OR/PACU competency and call capability
• 2:1 patient ratio with 2-room unit providing comprehensive endoscopy services
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required; medication systems include Pyxis and Omnicell
• 16 hours of paid orientation plus eligible for up to 16 hours of reimbursement for pre-assignment modules
• Interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
• Adult and geriatric patient populations with procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy, and conscious sedation

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR or PACU experience required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Competency in administering and monitoring conscious sedation, specimen handling, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and GI procedures
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility (distance requirements may apply; compensation adjusted accordingly)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
