Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Float Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Colorado Springs. This role involves providing critical care support across PICU, NICU, and Med Surg units while floating within the designated clinical settings. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting October 20, 2026, and ending January 23, 2027, with a consistent shift schedule of 12-hour days.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, with every other weekend work required.
• Required Qualifications: BSN required; Colorado RN license required; prior travel experience required; Epic experience necessary; pediatric experience preferred; strong critical thinking and time management skills; team player, collaborative, patient advocate, competent, flexible, dependable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float to PICU, NICU, and Med Surg units may be required but not mandatory for this role.
• Additional Information: RTO (Request for Time Off) is limited to a maximum of 4 days, only if within the first 2 weeks of assignment; blackout dates for RTO are specified. Must be available to work 2 of the 3 observed holidays, with no RTO approved during holiday work. The organization reserves the right to assign float locations within 35 miles of the facility or within clinical competency. Exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted with proper documentation.
