Job Summary
Pediatric Float Nurse Pediatric Float Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing pediatric nursing care across various pediatric specialties within a healthcare facility. The position requires adaptability to float across departments such as NICU, general pediatrics, and pediatric emergency department, supporting patient care in a fast-paced environment during night shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or multistate license, Pediatric and/or Oncology experience within the previous 18 months, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience, EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 12 months, BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), and APHON documentation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for pediatric hematology/oncology patients, ability to float across units including NICU, B3 general floor, and PICTURE.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records within the past 12 months is required. Candidates should have completed a travel contract within the past 18 months.
