Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (TELE MS FLOAT) Located in an adaptable healthcare environment, this role involves providing nursing care within a telemetry and medical-surgical unit across multiple facilities. The position requires flexibility to float within designated zones and accommodate variable patient needs during night shifts. The assignment spans from September 28, 2026, to December 28, 2026, supporting a dynamic team in delivering quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; Certifications include BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS. A minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro experience is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required. Travelers are expected to float throughout Zone 3, which encompasses facilities around Denver City Center, Longmont, and Westminster, Colorado. All travelers must be equipped to work across multiple units, including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and general medical-surgical areas.
- Additional Information:
- No home base facility; must be located at least 60 miles from each facility listed.
- May be required to work weekends (6-9 shifts over 6 weeks) and participate in holiday rotation if scheduled.
- Unit orientation includes 1-2 days with a preceptor.
- Must be present in the state for week of orientation, even if completed remotely.
- Shifts are assigned 4-6 weeks in advance; may be scheduled as single-facility or just-in-time (JIT) assignments.
- Use of EPIC electronic charting system.
- No BSN required to submit.
