Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Nights) in Illinois. This role involves contributing clinical expertise within an interdisciplinary team, providing care to patients, and floating within the same discipline across local campuses. The position requires working scheduled night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.

  • Required Qualifications: Two years of previous experience, at least one completed travel contract preferred; State license for Illinois is required; Driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within the last year, license verification, and certification copies are required; supervisory reference at submission required; Taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility or local with a 10% rate reduction for Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf, or Fort Dodge; experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and titration of medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in travel assignments working with high acuity patients in trauma or surgical settings
  • Additional Information: The unit maintains a 1:7 patient ratio; travel needs are high to reduce this ratio; up to 48 hours weekly guarantee; contracts available for 8, 10, or 13 weeks; work schedule includes working 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Orientation sessions are scheduled periodically from 01/12/2026 through 12/28/2026. This role requires working outside a 50-mile radius from the facility unless located in Madison, where a local option with 10% rate reduction is available.
