ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This is a float pool position requiring flexibility to work across multiple units. The candidate must have experience in an acute care hospital setting, with a strong emphasis on commitment to patient care and team collaboration.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 7am to 7:30pm or 7pm to 7:30am
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Weekend Requirements: 75% of weekends required
• Call Requirements: No
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU
• Float Requirements: Must float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide care for a variety of ICU patients, including those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU and 1:3 in Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Expected to care for basic complexity ICU patients while avoiding high-complexity cases such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills/Experience: At least 3 years of ICU experience.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional ICU experience.
• Personality Fit: Strong focus on patient care, effective team communication, and personal growth.

• Scrub Color: Non-specific
• Unacceptable Attire: Open-toed shoes (no crocs), jeans, clothing with large logos or prints, and any attire with inappropriate language.
