Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Kealakekua, HI. The ideal candidate will be flexible and comfortable floating between multiple units while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between two Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as assigned.
- Provide care for Medical-Surgical overflow patients in the ICU and Emergency Department.
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Active Hawaii RN License
- Recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to float between multiple units, including ICU and ED overflow
- Strong adaptability and excellent clinical judgment
