Medical Surgical Float Nurse, located in Healdton, OK, is responsible for providing patient care across various medical-surgical units within the facility's float pool. Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical Surgical (MS FLOAT)
- Location: Healdton, OK
- Schedule: Nights (3x12 shifts), minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Oklahoma Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a relevant setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, and other unit-specific certifications as required
- Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain professional accountability and evaluate the effectiveness of care
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform patient handoffs using safety tools such as SBAR and Report at Bedside
- Communicate effectively with physicians and team members
- Participate in process improvement activities and ensure compliance with mandatory competencies and certifications
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the specified qualifications and submit all relevant certifications and credentials
