Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The RNFA will work closely with surgeons, operating room nurses, and other members of the surgical team to provide specialized perioperative support throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Support surgical positioning, preparation, and procedural activities.
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Assist with patient assessment, documentation, and postoperative care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• RNFA certification/qualification as required.
• Relevant perioperative/surgical experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
