Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
Join our dedicated Endoscopy team as a Registered Nurse in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role is based in a hospital setting, focusing on providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures.
The Endoscopy RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the patient's journey, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support (including scrub/tech functions), and post-procedure recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver safe and effective nursing care for patients in the Endoscopy unit.
- Provide pre-procedure patient assessment, education, and preparation.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, potentially performing scrub or tech duties.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, managing recovery and post-procedure care.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the endoscopy experience.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an Endoscopy setting.
- Demonstrated experience with both pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care in Endoscopy.
- Proficiency in scrub/tech functions during Endoscopy procedures.
- Current Flu Vaccine required; no exemptions accepted.

Shift Details
- Primary Shift: Nights (NOC)
- Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift
- Days per Week: 5 days per week
- Call Requirements: Rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 29, 2026
Licensing Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
