    Job Details:

    • Day/Evening shift, 8-hour shifts with rotating start times between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
    • Weeknight call requirement and may need to stay past end of shift to finish the day's schedule
    • Travelers are required to float as needed
    • Must be able to perform Moderate Sedation in procedure, and pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery
    • Utilizes an RN-driven assessment approach to sedation with patients managed within targeted sedation range based on their Ramsay Sedation Scale score
    • Must have recent experience recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and Bronchoscopy (some patients have general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation)
    • Provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures including administration of sedation
    • Serve as an integral part of a surgical team performing multispecialty procedures
    • Assume overall responsibility for management of the operating room to which you are assigned
    • High acuity setting - must be willing to perform bedside procedures in ICU, ED, and similar environments
    • Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics
    • Daily census of 20-25 patients across 4 rooms
    • 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty required within the last 3 years
    • Level Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar size hospital experience required
    • Travel experience required
    • Epic charting system experience required
    • Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (two attempts allowed; passing score of 80% or higher required)
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, WI RN or compact RN license
    • CGRN preferred
