Description
Job Title: Level 3 RN Endo/GI
Profession: RN
Specialty: Endoscopy
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
License: NY RN License
Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have:
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification
- Conscious sedation experience
- Expert IV insertion
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
- Experience performing intake for GI procedures
Description:
Answer patient questions and address their concerns.
Observe patient vital signs.
Sedate patients before procedures.
Recover patients after procedures.
Administer necessary medication to patients.
Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents.
Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
Clean and sterilize equipment before use.
Provide assistance to doctors throughout procedures.
Administer IV drips.
