Schedule: 4 × 9-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Start Times: Rotating between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM
Weekly Travel Pay:$2,758/week gross
Local Pay:$70/hour

 

Job Description:
Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Endoscopy for a 13-week assignment in Champaign, IL. The RN will provide care to patients undergoing routine GI procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, while rotating through pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for endoscopy procedures
  • Complete assessments and review health history
  • Initiate IVs and provide patient education
  • Monitor and sedate patients under physician direction
  • Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care
  • Assist CRNA during cases requiring anesthesia
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
  • Follow patient safety and nursing standards
  • Float between the Champaign Endoscopy Center and Digestive Health Department

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant RN experience
  • Endoscopy/GI procedure experience
  • Moderate sedation experience
  • Patient assessment experience
  • ASN required
  • Active Illinois RN License
  • BLS – AHA
  • ACLS – AHA
