Location: Bakersfield, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 10/12/2026
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Setting: Acute Care, GI/Endoscopy

Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for one of the busiest GI/Endoscopy departments in the region, performing 5-25 procedures daily across common cases such as EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, Bronchs, EUS, and PEG placements.

RNs will cover all 3 phases of care, including recovery of MAC sedation and procedural sedation. With MAC cases, the RN circulates; with procedural sedation, there is a dedicated circulator and sedator. All intubated patients are transferred to PACU, and bedside procedures may occasionally be performed in the ER/ICU when needed.

There is a Charge Nurse on every shift, Monday-Friday, and Techs are present in every room except during Bronch procedures to assist with equipment, stocking, and scope care.
