Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Shift: 9H Days Four-9 hour days with a day off weekly (either 0730-1700 or 0830-1800).
Unit Notes:We would love for the candidate to have conscious sedation experience, but we are more interested in them having pre-op and recovery, advanced cases, and MAC experience at the very least.
Department: Endo GI Unit*Certifications Required: BLS and ACLSWI or compact state RN license. - # Suites: 10 procedure/OR rooms. (8 outpatient, 2 inpatient)- Average # of cases per day: 30.- Common Cases: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Dilations, food impactions.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: At least pre/post experience, conscious sedation experience and advanced GI case experience would be nice- Shifts & Scheduling: 10 hour day shift and call rotation for 24/7 coverage (depending on experience with advanced cases and conscious sedation)- Weeknight/Call Requirements: None for nurses- Nurses only stay late to complete necessary cases - Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, on rotation. They are on 8 9-week rotation. They will only take call if they can do conscious sedation and advanced cases. - Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, on rotation.- What is call response time: 45-60 minutes.- Floating Requirements: No.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Facility supplies scrubs.- Unit/Department specific orientation: Unit orientation. Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:No License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:2 Care Setting:Outpatient Division: Shift Notes:Four-9 hour days with a day off weekly (either 0730-1700 or 0830-1800). May need to stay late to finish cases or recover patients as needed. Possible call: 1-2 weekends the entire contract. Required Certifications:ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
