Description
Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Mineola, New York.
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Endoscopy

- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, evenings

RN – Endoscopy | NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island
Location: Mineola, NY
Start Date: November 16, 2026
⏳ Contract: 12 Weeks
Shift: Mid Shift, 5×7.5 hours, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Weekends: Not Required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience per compliance requirements
- Previous travel assignment required — first-time travelers not accepted
- ICU/Critical Care experience required
- PACU/Recovery experience
- Active NY RN license
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- EKG testing within 72 hours of signing
- Epic experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
Clinical Skills:
- Endoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
- ERCP, EUS, and advanced GI procedures
- Conscious sedation administration and monitoring
- Airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
- IV initiation and maintenance
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and emergency response
- Procedure circulating and specimen handling
Unit Details:
- Hospital-based Endoscopy/GI procedural unit
- Patient population: Pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
- Patient ratio: 1:2; required ratio experience 1:3
- Floating required
- COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions
