PACU/Recovery experience
Airway management
Starting and maintaining IVs
Recovery from conscious sedation
Administering and monitoring conscious sedation
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Emergency-response skills
Specimen handling and labeling
Circulating for procedures, including Bronchoscopy and Colonoscopy
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel assignment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU and critical care.
This role supports both Pre-Procedure/Prep and PACU/Recovery areas.
Responsibilities include airway management and post-anesthesia recovery.
The unit cares for adult and pediatric patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong assessment skills.
Staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 2 patients.
RNs provide care across Pre-Procedure/Prep, Intra-Procedure, and PACU/Recovery areas for both outpatient and hospitalized patients.
Procedures include ERCP, EUS, ESD, POEM, EMR, and complex polypectomy.
Candidates must have experience in administering conscious sedation and managing dysrhythmias.
Effective communication skills are essential.
Candidates must possess Emergency-response skills.
