Endoscopy RN – Travel Contract
Facility: Mission Hospital – Memorial Campus
Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
Shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
EMR: Cerner and Provation
Call: One night per week and two 24-hour weekend call shifts in a 6-week period
Unit: Endoscopy – 3rd Floor
Job Details
- Endoscopy unit with 9 pre-op bays, 4 procedure rooms, and 6 PACU bays.
- Perform or assist with procedures including:
- EGD and colonoscopy
- EUS and ERCP
- Bronchoscopy, EBUS, and ION procedures
- Equipment includes Olympus scopes and processors, Olympus ultrasound, ION, and ERBE.
- May float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR if qualified and experienced.
- Surgical scrubs are provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience — required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all required.
- Must be flexible with scheduling.
- Pulmonary procedural experience is preferred.
- Block scheduling is not routinely accommodated, especially requests for four consecutive days off to travel home.
