This is a very busy unit. The position requires day shifts, either 4x10 or 5x8, from 7 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM. Every third weekend will be required. Call duties will depend on skill level. Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, and ERCP. Skills in administering and monitoring conscious sedation are essential. Additional skills required include specimen handling, starting and maintaining IVs, and airway management. Candidates may float to other units as needed based on skill sets and census. Reference checks are not required.
