**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Endoscopy **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 8-hour day shifts, 07:00-15:30 **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years in endoscopy nursing, with at least 1 travel assignment in an endoscopy unit **License:** Registered Nurse **Certifications:** Appropriate Endoscopy-related certifications preferred **Must-Have:** Flexibility to accommodate variable start times and stay until the completion of cases if they run long **Job Description:** - Deliver patient care in a dynamic endoscopy unit, primarily handling colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures. - Administer conscious sedation in designated procedure rooms on the main floor. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for patients undergoing procedures. - Adapt to flexible shift start times ranging from 6:15 am to 8:00 am based on the weekly case mix. - Ensure readiness to support procedure rooms both on the main floor and those requiring anesthesia located adjacent to operating room suites. - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details. - Uphold standard nursing practices and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. - Provide post-procedural assessments and instructions as needed. - Exhibit strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centric care.
