Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Specialist in a clinical setting. This position involves providing comprehensive endoscopy services, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care, with experience in endoscopic ultrasounds and bronchoscopies considered a plus. The role requires adherence to unit protocols and collaboration with nursing assistants, utilizing vital signs and cardiac monitor knowledge, as well as Epic electronic medical record system expertise.

Job Details:

  • Shifts: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of endoscopy lab experience; valid license to submit; open to candidates with 0 years of experience if otherwise qualified
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system; knowledge of vital signs and cardiac monitoring, including Cpap, BiPap equipment; NDNQI certification from Monterfiore Nyack Hospital
