Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires an RN who possesses endoscopy experience and is willing to also take on the responsibilities of an endoscopy technician.

General Overview

This role has emerged due to the unexpected resignation of a permanent staff member, coupled with a staff member on medical leave. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of care and seek a candidate who can step into this vital role effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of the endoscopy unit.
• Support the endoscopy team by performing technical duties as required.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients on pre-procedure and post-procedure care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an endoscopy setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage in a dual role as an endoscopy technician.
