Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. The RN will provide patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and in compliance with relevant nursing standards and policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform patient care functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse for direct supervision during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure high-quality care and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • License: Current Maine RN license or compact license.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and IV certification required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork.
