Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, Maine. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures.
The Endoscopy RN will perform comprehensive patient care functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing regulations and St. Joseph Hospital policies. You will work collaboratively under the supervision of the Unit Director and receive direct guidance from the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during your assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current IV certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an endoscopy or procedural setting
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
