# Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – North CarolinaStart Date: August 26, 2026
Location: Western North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 9-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, plus rotating call coverageHighlights:
  • Work in a state-of-the-art 815-bed acute care facility serving as the regional referral center for western North Carolina
  • Variable shift assignments in Pre-Op (0630-1630), PACU (0800-1800), or Procedure Room (0730-1700) based on daily needs
  • Diverse case mix including adult and pediatric EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, ERBE, bronchoscopy, stent placements, and advanced procedures using Olympus scopes and ION navigational technology
  • Cerner EMR system with modern equipment including ERBE, Medivator, and Boston Scientific tools
  • Manageable call requirements: one weeknight call shift per week and two weekend call shifts per 6-week period
  • Work at the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region with nationally recognized quality ratings
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or Compact State
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Prior endoscopy nursing experience mandatory
  • Pediatric endoscopy experience preferred
  • Pulmonary endoscopy experience preferred
  • Endoscopy tech experience a plus
