Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Endoscopy License: Required IN State License and Certifications in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - 3 years of Endoscopy experience minimum - Experience with Pediatric cases - Familiarity with Cerner charting system - Experience with Bronchoscopy within the last 2 years - Ability to administer conscious sedation Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy. The nurse will work three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00. The unit sees high volumes of both pediatric and adult cases. Pediatric cases will be scheduled from Monday to Thursday. The nurse will be responsible for pre/post procedural care and intraprocedural duties. RNs will provide 1:1 patient care. There is a requirement for on-call shifts during weekdays and weekends. Floating to PACU may be required to meet facility needs. It is necessary to work two out of three major holidays. Proper documentation and patient care procedures must be followed. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent patient outcomes and adherence to safety standards. This role may include exposure to various medical disorders and treatment procedures. Applicants must have a commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
