Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 36-hour work week consisting of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM). Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per 6-week schedule. Commitment to work 2-3 weekends per contract and holidays as scheduled.

- Specialized endoscopy unit with 3 procedure rooms and 11 beds, serving an average daily census of 20 patients
- Diverse procedural experience including ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in a well-supported environment
- Epic EMR system and Pyxis medication management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract (blackout dates apply for Spring Break: April 4-12)
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- ERCP experience is required; experience with ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures
- Experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring
- Patient ratio experience of 1:2 preferred
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Full compliance required prior to start date; all documents due Tuesday before scheduled start
