Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Endoscopy – Georgia

Schedule: 36-hour work week consisting of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per six-week schedule. Weekend coverage required 2-3 weekends per contract period.
Highlights:
- Perform advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP with Spy Glass, bronchoscopy, EBUS, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures
- Work with a manageable 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a well-equipped 11-bed unit with 3 procedure rooms
- Utilize Epic charting system and Pyxis medication management
- Average daily census of 20 patients covering adult to geriatric populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum one year of experience
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; previous travel experience not required
- ERCP experience required; proficiency in bronchoscopy, EBUS, colonoscopy, and EGD procedures
- Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
