The unit features 4 procedure rooms and 9 recovery bays. The staff includes 8 RNs, 5 technicians, 1 X-ray technician, and 1 transport team member. Day shift staffing typically includes a charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. The patient ratio during night shifts is 1 nurse for every 2 patients in recovery. Candidates must possess airway management skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in gastroenterology. Typical procedures performed in this unit include endoscopic procedures. An energetic personality is the best fit for this role. Rotating weekday and weekend call may be required.
