Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Evening Shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Participate in required pre-shift huddles prior to each shift
- Float to appropriate areas within the facility consistent with skillset, including a satellite location
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification (must be in hand)
- Current PALS certification (must be in hand)
- Current BLS certification (must be in hand)
- Current NIHSS certification (must be in hand)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments
