    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess patients presenting for emergency care and triage based on history, physical assessment, and chief complaint.
    • Provide comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients, including medication administration, intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, and ongoing treatments as prescribed by a physician.
    • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment throughout patient care.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and service providers to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
    • Initiate patient education plans as prescribed by a physician and provide wound care including cleaning and bandaging.
    • Document all care information concisely, accurately, and in the appropriate format in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, higher-level degree, or diploma from a professional nursing educational program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
    • Must have passed the NCLEX and hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license from a U.S. state, territory, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of professional nursing experience, with at least one (1) year preferred in an Emergency Room setting.
    • Current certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
    • Ability to lift 20–50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods; manual dexterity and fine motor skills required.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • One (1) or more years of direct Emergency Room nursing experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple urgent tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and composure.
    • Experience working with and demonstrating cultural sensitivity toward diverse patient populations.
