Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Manage and treat common ED presentations including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting flexibly based on acuity
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment within a Meditech EHR environment
- Float to like assignments as required to support department staffing needs
- Maintain all required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with Emergency Department specialty
- Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EHR system
- Strong team-player mentality with a positive, engaged attitude
- Experience managing high-acuity and diverse patient populations
