    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

    Location

    Wilson, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
    • Manage and treat common ED presentations including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting flexibly based on acuity
    • Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment within a Meditech EHR environment
    • Float to like assignments as required to support department staffing needs
    • Maintain all required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with Emergency Department specialty
    • Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience
    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
    • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Meditech EHR system
    • Strong team-player mentality with a positive, engaged attitude
    • Experience managing high-acuity and diverse patient populations
