Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

South Weymouth, MA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (11:00 PM – 11:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to attendance and scheduling policies, including making up any missed shifts as required to fulfill expected weekly hours
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
- ACLS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
- PALS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working as a travel or contract nurse in an Emergency Department
- Familiarity with high-volume, Level II or Level I trauma center environments
