Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | 36 Hours Weekly with Weekend Rotations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency room patients across a range of medical conditions
- Provide trauma management and advanced life support interventions
- Establish and maintain IV access and execute other critical nursing interventions
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality emergency care
Required Qualifications
- Active WV RN License or Compact RN License (pending license accepted at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Strong proficiency in triage protocols and trauma management in a high-acuity emergency setting
