    Key Responsibilities
    • Work alongside a second RN to provide care for med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department patients in a critical access hospital setting
    • Perform standard RN procedures including IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and other clinical interventions
    • Float daily between med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department as staffing and census require
    • Operate unit equipment including Philips central monitor/telemetry and Lifepak 15
    • Function within a small team environment, with a minimum staffing model of two RNs per shift, supported by a PCT or LPN
    • Serve in a charge nurse capacity in the emergency department when qualified and needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
    • Minimum 2 years of med/surg nursing experience
    • Active compact or South Dakota state RN license
    • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
    • Ability to work across med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department settings
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with EPIC electronic health records
    • Ability and willingness to serve as charge nurse in the emergency department
