Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform standard ED procedures including care for Level IV trauma patients
- Support primary stroke center protocols and NIHSS assessments
- Participate in chest pain accredited care including PCI/STEMI response available 24/7
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or ENPC certification
- Current TNCC certification and NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience in a Level IV trauma or stroke center environment
