Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations, applying thorough knowledge of nursing principles to provide quality patient care
- Assess patient needs across clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual dimensions
- Recognize safety issues and assess and implement appropriate use of lifts to move patients safely
- Function effectively in high-stress environments using creative problem-solving skills
- May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse, demonstrating strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Maintain IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification and complete lethal dysrhythmia exam and defibrillation certification within required timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- MEDITECH experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
