Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other units as required based on facility needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
- Current NIHSS certification
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not eligible
- Must provide a copy of current driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings
