Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Care for Telemetry Holding patients as needed in addition to primary ER duties
- Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Prior clinical experience working in California
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
- Willingness and ability to care for Telemetry Holding patients when required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing high patient volumes in a Level II or higher Emergency Department
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation in a holding or transitional care context
